Scorpion Track actively protects your vehicle against illegal movement using GPS geo fence technology along with latest technology movement detection hidden within the vehicle.
Upon Illegal movement detection Scorpion Track will discretely notify our international control centre of a possible theft.
Fully trained 24hr Scorpion Track monitoring staff will contact you with vehicle movement details in order to confirm a theft in line with current Police legislation and procedures. Scorpion Track will continue to track any alarmed vehicle until recovery or false alarm has been confirmed.
Once theft has been confirmed and a crime reference number has been obtained from the Police, Scorpion Track operatives will liaise with the Police in order to recover the vehicle.
Upon recovery, The Scorpion Track operator will arrange the return of the vehicle to the customers desired location.
Scorpion track is able to provide, speed, direction, ignition state, battery condition and location details down to 500 yard accuracy to the Police control room in the event of a theft.
This information is gained using the very latest in UK designed and manufactured electronics along with the already proven GPS and GSM technologies.
All of this along with Thatcham approval to the highest standard ensures the best accuracy currently available through such technology.
These are the two communication methods used to locate a stolen vehicle with Scorpion Track and relay the following details back to our 24hr control centre and subsequently the Police authority.

GPS – Global Positioning System operated by satellites which will enable the positioning direction and speed of the vehicle. The same infrastructure as used to support Satellite Navigational devices.
GSM – Global System Mobile Communications operated across the globe to support mobile communication devices and cellular mobile phone networks. This is used to communicate the above GPS details back to the Scorpion Track 24hr Control centre.
The above methods will supply Scorpion Track and subsequently the Police with an accuracy location of between ….metres and 500 metres depending on local terrain etc.
